THE VELUX FLAT ROOF SYSTEM
 
A great many buildings have extensions with flat, or near flat roofs that often create dark areas in rooms. VELUX has developed a window system specifically for flat roofs, which floods light into areas beneath. Imagine lying in bed admiring the stars above or impressing friends by serving dinner under a moonlit sky.

The Flat Roof System incorporates the VELUX GGL/GGU roof window with its advanced insulation properties, slimmer proportions and improved internal and external aesthetics.

PROTEC-STAR multi-function glazing is fitted as standard, providing greater thermal insulation properties and greater safety with its 6.4mm laminated inner pane and 4mm toughened, low-E outer pane.

The VELUX Flat Roof System comes complete with a shaped, insulated wooden kerb and is available in manual or electronic versions that can be fitted on flat or low pitched roofs up to 15°. To maximise the amount of natural light entering the room the front and back framing is splayed.
